I would like to relay a very positive outcome I had with an Australian Watch Strap maker…

I have always liked the look of a ‘Sailcloth’ strap. And these guys are at the top of their game with an extremely high quality product.

I used their strap for a watch I have dedicated to my daily workouts at my gym. After about 20 months or so, I noticed that one of the two ‘keepers’ was starting to unravel from the underside. It seemed like such a small thing and the strap…

A couple of years ago I had my Omega SMP in for a full service. This time my watch came back with a much nicer service case.

But, I for the life of me can not figure out what this ‘odd’ piece is for…?

Omega’s new service box?

For the past few years I have been receiving the latest rendition of tje Omega Service Box, regarding my repairs. And it is a nice upgrade from tje older model.

However, for the life of me I can not understand the ‘function’ of this funny ‘padding thing’ in the box.

What does it do…what is its purpose?

Can anybody give me an explanation…I would be very appréciative.

Omega Service Box
