While I collect and restore 19th Century pocket watches, I found an LL Bean Chronograph (Valjoux ETA 7750 movement) #9446 at a local estate sale (no strap, badly scratched crystal) and paid $10 for it ! Serviced and adjusted the movement, put in a new mineral crystal and matching leather strap then gave it to my son (less than $100 total input).
