I very much like the dial of this watch, esp. the moonphase. It is a Tag Heuer 188.205 Edward Heuer Lemania Chronograph for the brand's 125th Anniversary (1985). From what I have found there are 4 refs with small variations.

Anyway, I am new to the hobby and wanted to ask if anyone knows about this ref and/or Tag Heuer more broadly. Basically I'd be happy to buy it but want to make sure it is an ok ref.

I am considering getting this watch. It is an Omega De Ville cal. 565. It is monocoque and requires Tool 106. I do not know as much about the De Ville line so I thought I would turn to this forum for some help.

As far as I can tell, crystal and crown are signed. Dial, case and hands look good to me. Seller does not have the tool to remove the crystal and check the movement. This is a bit of a concern. It also means I cannot know the exact date of the watch.

I came across this watch, a 1960s Seamaster cal. 562, and found the dial very interesting! New to this hobby, I started digging, reverse image searching, and generally researching.

I think it is called a ribbon dial (?) – although various textured dials appear to be called 'ribbon'. I am not sure if it has a more specific name.

Hi everyone!

I wanted to get a second opinion on this Seamaster. To my untrained eye, and from what I have been learning on here, it looks generally fine. I am confused with the dial, esp. towards the bottom. Is that discoloration/ fading or just a glow/ angle issue? I think I can see a similar glow on other such watches.

Hands and crown look ok to me. I cannot see the Omega sign on the plexi but it otherwise seems good. Case and bracelet seem acceptable also.

I am looking into getting an Omega Seamaster cal. 565 and found a watch that looks decent. But it has quite a dent/ break (?) on the back of the case.

Could anyone with more experience take a look at the picture and let me know if it is a big deal/ would affect the watch and price?

Longtime lurker – I have learnt a lot from this forum!

I recently decided to get a vintage Speedmaster cal. 565 and have been looking at listings that pop up. I am considering the below, a 1965 with ref. 166.003. U195.

If you zoom in, there is browning around the 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock mark. I can’t tell if it’s actually rust. Seller tells me he hasn’t removed the crystal and doesn’t know if it’s dirt or rust – or which part is actually affected. Not very encouraging.
