Appreciate it is linguistically correct but just grates with me – I’ve always given birthday/Christmas presents not gifted them.

Mrs K’s iPhone camera has dark screen – can’t see anything. It still takes photos ok but obv no idea of exactly what! Strangely when using Google translate with camera it displays okay.
Is there a setting she’s fiddled with perchance?
