I was recently at a flea market when I stumbled upon a very attractive, beat-up old non-running Seiko. Knowing that Seiko watches typically run no matter what, I decided to take a risk, hoping it just needed a battery. I really love the dial and case shape of this particular model, especially with the applied logos. I paid 15 euros for it as a project. I slapped on one of my old straps and I think the mesh looks great!

Vintage Seiko SQ flea market find!

Hello fellow enthusiasts,

I am in the market for a deployant style clasp and I have found my options somewhat limited both in size and location. I am in Germany, so it is not easy to get some of the more common US brands here.

That said, I am waiting on a new watch purchase (Laco Stuttgart Pro 37mm) and would like to swap the standard buckle with a deployant. The strap is 18mm at the lugs which as far as I can see means 16mm at the buckle end.

Given the Artems crazy price of 85 euros…

I have recently put in an order for a custom Laco Stuttgart Pro in 37mm (with the 18mm strap). I am extremely excited as it is a special watch for a special occasion. With that said, I was wondering if anyone has had experience with upgrading the standard buckle clasp with a deployant? Or upgraded to different cool straps in general.
