What has everyones servicing experience been with watches that have these movements - I have been told only Seiko can service them and that they send them out to Japan for servicing. Any independents servicing these movements ?

So I am looking into buying either a SMP300 or a Speedmaster (Pro) by end of the month. I was wondering what time keeping can be expected from the 8800 series movements. The 3130 in my Rolex OP 39 is exactly the same in terms of time keeping with my Seiko Marinemaster (SLA079) – can any of the Omega movements out do this ?

So i just purchased a new SLA079 and its expected to be here in a few days. Was wondering what I could expect from the 8L movement ? I've had AD's tell me in the past that it's on par with the Rolex 3100 (if not better). I've even had folks tell me to expect better time keeping than what my Rolex OP can achieve.
