I have 3 autos with screw down crowns – ,nice watches which I never intentionally want to swim with or even take into the shower. So do I have to screw down the crown after each time I set them? I don't wear them all the time so need to set them each time I do. So I really like the 'Peter Blake' and aim to pick up one before long. My heart leans more towards auto but my head says that the 2264 might be the wiser choice. Am I right to think this? – would welcome other's experience and views.

My research so far on these watches shows that there is not a great deal of difference in price. However for an auto, almost certainly, unless very lucky, would need to factor in a full service, regulating etc which I guess doesn't have to be done at Omega…

Never really liked the polished bezel on my Khaki King so had a go at brushing it. What do you think, have I ruined it? I was quite shocked but not in an unpleasant way as to how it transformed its looks. Matched with an MN style strap, now has a much more toolish look I feel and closer to military origins. Some will doubtless think it is sacriligous and I do think some of its character has been lost. However for the moment definitely prefer this look and can always polish it…
