Having a bucket list of seeing the Mille Miglia classic car rally (alternative, less attainable bucket list entry – enter into the Mille Miglia) in person the plan was formulated around attending that.

I've always admired Farer watches but never found one that made me want to pull the trigger and buy one. The monopusher chronographs (esp, the Cobb) were particularly enticing but just couldn't justify the price. Not that I feel they are over-priced, just that at more than $1500 I'd find something else I'd rather buy.
