Favourite crown?

Hadn’t really thought much about crowns, until I used this one to set the time – it’s really the only time we touch a watch with our fingertips, which I understand are quite sensitive.

Watch Lume and how you charge it.

Nearly all the watches I have without lume now are vintage – 30 years or more old – my dress watch is 1961 even. I do have a modern retro design chrono with blued hands but that is next out the door.

But, apart from my Ball, they all need ‘charging’ – here is my latest acquisition:
