Would you guys be so kind as to recommend a fountain pen for somebody who knows almost nothing about them? Preferably something without too much of a learning curve. I’m guessing that something will take cartridges so I won’t have to deal with an inkwell and something that won’t leak. I’d like to stick with black and silver, sort of along the lines of a nice MB but with a budget of $200. Less is always nice but I don’t want to sour the experience buying something that is sub par. I’m not a fan of the dreaded cyclops. There. I said it. No offense intended if that’s your thing, just for me personally, it really breaks up the symmetry of the dial. In researching Ball watches, they have some great models at decent prices, but it seems like most of them use the cyclops. That’s a no go for me. That got me wondering.
