Saw this on Wrist Action on YouTube, he did an instructional video on how to modify the pcb to enable flash alarm on the AE1200. It involves soldering a jumper together, looks fairly easy if you have a soldering iron (or conductive paint pen). I think when I finally get around to doing an SKXMOD conversion on my AE1200 I'll do the flash mod and put a new battery in it at the same time.

So I've been going through some stuff at home that's caused me to really not go out or have a social life any more the last few months, which is a plus for my finances so i have a little more hobby money. I've been spending a lot of time on WuS and eBay looking at more Casios.

Hi, II have this wv56h that's very neat cause it's one of Casio's first wave ceptor watches. I put a battery in it since it was low (had thr wrong battery - a 1632 instead of a 1620, the battery hatch wouldn't fully close.)

Same problem is persisting - terrible lcd viewing angle. I've attached he'd pictures. It's perfectly legible at a low angle but basically unreadable straight on making it not really wearable. I have like $8 in this watch and don't mind messing with it. I took the module...

I've got an early Precisionist (from 2012) that has a strange issue- the hour hand is out of phase with the minute hand. For instance, if the minute hand is at noon the hour hand is directly in between hours. Makes it unwearable for me. Do the hands just need to be removed and repositioned or is something in the movement broken? Has anyone else encountered this issue?
