Perhaps at £1500 I might have shown more enthusiasm! For £5k+ it left me feeling that it was massively overpriced.

…but mine wears a bit small on me. See the first two pics. Then there's a pic of someone else diving with a U1 strapped next to a Seiko Turtle which dwarfs it. Finally there's a pic or the U1 next to a 42mm Tudor Pelagos and frankly the Pelagos looks bigger.

I'm curious because I would assume that it was bad practice but I read somewhere that when this chap took his watch off after wearing it all day he would pull the crown and freeze the movement until he next wore it so as to not lose the power reserve he had built up.

Opinions?

Can anyone confirm this claim?

I'm preferably wanting the briefcase style with 8-10 slots but will consider any suitably sized case or box at this point!
