I have a 2824 in one of my beaters that I serviced maybe 4 years ago and it gets very little wear, maybe a couple of hours a week on average. It has started helicoptering. Most of my services are on practice movements and get little use so I don't have a lot of watches to go on but my guess is this one failed due to overlubrication on my part. In the past I have just been using 9010 in the proper places but without Epilame.
