There are dozens of characteristics of watches to consider when looking for a watch, but I think case design is further down on the list than some others for most. More importance is usually given to the dial, hands, bezel, type of movement, bracelet, brand, maybe lume, etc. Not only buyers but often the watch brands themselves place less importance on case design.
