I have recently purchased a lovely condition 1174, something I used to own over 30 years ago but unfortunately was lost when younger.

I am struggling to get the watch to output any IR, I have checked using my phone camera that it can see the IR light flashing when pressing the buttons, but I have tried learning a remote control (the watch indicates it has received IR from the TV remote) but it never replays that signal to the TV.

Is there something I am missing? I have left it in…
