I recently served as the timekeeper for schoolchildren touring a museum. I had to ring a bell to signal when it was time for each group to shift to their next area in the museum, where a volunteer would explain their particular exhibits. I also had to inform each volunteer in each of five areas when they had two minutes until I’d be ringing the bell.
