I never fully embraced the Ming aesthetic, but I admire the company and its founder, Ming Thein, for what they are doing in the horology space. They created a new style of 3D-printed titanium strap/bracelet recently. I'd love to see how this feels/wears on the wrist.

It's a rainy day here in the northeast US, and I was killing some time scrolling around on independentwatcher.com, so I figured I'd post some of the watches I found interesting. I was previously unaware of most of these brands. I included prices in USD.

Vianny Halter – Scriptura – $95k – This was one of the brands I knew about, and I always admired their aesthetic. This one is 38mm titanium case with a hand-engraved gold dial.

I think that the "8" in the "18" on the bezel is upside down. If this is indeed a mistake and they produced and sold some of them, it could be a collector's item.

I'm on Panerai's email list, and after several related emails, I bit and clicked to further investigate. I'm not sure I've seen these types of experiences ties to specific watch models before as a way to promote the watch (assumingly). From Panerai's website:
