I know we have a few jewellery dealers on the forum and I am after some advice on a diamond ring I have seen for the Mrs.
This is at a local antique Center to me but obviously in a dealers cabinet.
It’s a platinum ring with a main diamond @0.5 ct (pictures below) I did look at the stone through a loupe and the main stone does look very clear (but I am no expert) I have been offered the ring for £750 but think I could get it for around £700
The ring is too small (by quite a bit) for the Mrs so I would have to have it altered is this an issue with platinum?
And also does the price seem reasonable?
Any advice would be really appreciated although without seeing it in the flesh I know it’s subjective!
