Leather Strap Fit/Hole Issues- anybody here know how to fill/plug a hole in leather?

I’m between holes and they’re too close together to just punch one between them. I’ve already done the common sense thing and tried the tighter hole for a few days, but that’s not how my watches are worn. I use the loosest hole that will allow the leather to “adhere” to my skin and keep the watch from moving.
