I'm going to meet a personal goal soon, and I'm rewarding myself with my first Hamilton. This is my first step up from microbrands. So I'm wondering about old vs. new. I'm 53 male.

I really like the vintage look from WWII +/- a decade. My main concerns are quality and maintenance. For quality, I'm looking on Etsy. The shops I'm viewing seem legit with numerous pictures of watches in various states of assembly, so it seems clear the pieces are properly restored. Any experience or advice...
