I'm considering the purchase of a SuperOcean 57 or Heritage II. However, there's one seemingly persistent issue that's putting me off...

Having looked at quite a few pictures of used examples of both of these models online, it seems to be recurring theme that many of them have chipped/damaged paint within the filled indices on their ceramic bezels to varying degrees.
