I have watch with Valjoux 7750. I purchased new and it’s now 18 yrs old. Very little wrist time over yrs. When I wear I generally only set time and hand wind. Never serviced. Keeps perfect time. Haven’t bothered to set day/date for yrs. So the other day with hours/minutes at exactly 16:00 (4:00 pm) I used quick-set feature in attempt to set day/date. Day advanced fine. But for whatever reason date wouldn’t advance. So I then pulled stem all the way out and manually advanced hands…
