Just got this today. Now I own the original quartz and the latest mechanical version of the A-13A. The mechanical version is naturally more expensive as it contains a specialized Dubois-Depraz movement, but there's other refinements like an improved textured caseback, calfskin strap, polished bezel that's a separate piece, and improved lume. Check it twice on the timegrapher and both times it averaged less than 1 spd error over 5 positions. I did notice something kinda strange about the...

It seems as if there's just entirely too many watches with rotating bezels that hardly need them. Most will rarely if ever be used and the penalty is a smaller dial than would otherwise fit on the same size case. A recent example of this is the Omega Planet Ocean Worldtimer.
