Anybody collect Rail Road Approved watches? I have a meager collection of some; mostly inexpensive quartz. I have Three Timex, two Spidel, a Seiko, a Citizen and a few that are more on the more costly side such as a Hamilton Electric, a Ball, and a few others. I think they are pretty cool and they tell a story if one wants to explore it.

I have a RR Approved Accutron with a 218 movement. It was running and humming great, then it quit running. I put it away for a while and then recently I got it out and decided to replace the battery. Replaced the battery and it is still not working. Can anyone out there repair it without charging me an arm and a leg? I know, if you are going to play like a man you've got to pay like a man. I am 74 years old on a fixed income. Not looking for a handout but I just can't afford a lot. I just...
