I don’t post all that often but I just wanted to share a brief story. One of my watches is a JLC Polaris that I got about 7+ years ago. After taking it on a trip I noted it was stopping periodically. After a quick assessment I figured it probably just needed some lubrication and a general service since everything seemed to turn appropriately, would keep time when running but would randomly stop.
