This is a repair I did a couple days ago that I'm really proud of. I bought this Seiko watch new last year, and it had really severe positional variance. It was running about +10 sec/day in the dial up position; and in the vertical positions it was running very slow, anywhere from -30 sec/day to -75 sec/day depending on the position!

Fixed Huge Positional Variance on a Seiko 6R35A

I'm servicing an old Benrus watch with an ETA 1281 movement. The escape wheel is wobbling back and forth, as you can see in the video. Looking at it through a loupe, it looks like it is the lower pivot/bearing where the wobble is happening, not the top. The lower pivot is not broken or bent; its like the jewel's hole is too big.

Accutron 219 Railroad Watch

Just got this 1973 Accutron yesterday. Its big for an early 70s Accutron, 38x43mm case, but it looks awesome. I love the oval dial. Even though I have tiny wrists, it fits pretty comfortably.

I recently found out that there used to be a watch brand called Crawford! That's my last name, so of course I had to buy one. This one was made in the 60s and has an AS 1187 movement. It looks a lot better in real life; the light has really exaggerated the blemishes in the finish on it in the photo.

I'm going to have to service it; it runs but the amplitude is low and its losing about ten minutes a day!

I just bought this Seiko 7009-8279-P with the aim of servicing it to wear. I think it is from the late 1970s, but I'm not certain. I love the linen texture dial!
