This is my first time installing a flat, clear AR crystal, and I’d like to be sure I’m installing it correctly (AR coating down.)

I know which side was face down when the crystal was wrapped in paper. I know that typically, when they’re opened, the AR coating is “up,” but I’d like to learn how to be certain.

I looked for differences in sunlight, with and without a polarizing filter. Bevels are nearly equal on both sides of the crystal.

Hi! I bought a broken DW-5025D from eBay. I intend to put a new module in and put a black resin band/bezel on it so it will be very close in appearance to my rare DW-5000C-1B, but something I can wear daily.

Repairing/Modding a broken DW-5025D

I know that DW-5200 came in two variants, DW-5200C-1 and DW-5200C-9:

The -1 has a white ring and silver hardware. The -9 has a yellow ring and gold hardware.

However, I'm seeing a few DW-5200 models on eBay that combine the white bezel with the gold hardware…
