So this may sound obscure, but I think the watches in my collection that have stainless-steel cases and gold-toned markers are my favorite. I think the gold color just pops more on a steel background than matching steel hardware.

Omega Watch Forums – Omega’s Extract of the Archives – What information is in there and what isn’t?

So let’s maybe pull out into it’s own thread here. Basically, Omega offers a service called an Extract of the Archive, where they will ask you for the reference and serial number and then send you a nice paper on what they have in their records on that watch, usually production date and where it was delivered to.
