My X-33 started its low battery warning in the form of a 5 second tick. I cant remember when I last did a battery change but must be at leat 3 years ago.

All cleaned up, battery changed and the watch reset and synced. Good for another few years.

Many, many years ago I had a Doxa of some kind, can’t remember which model precisely but it was a Carribean.

I remember the beads of rice bracelet was in reality an Oyster bracelet with the look of a beads of rice. The 3 rows of an oyster moulded to look like a beads of rice.

Are Doxa bracelets still like this or are they actually beads of rice with fully articulated rice links.

Cleaned and lubed my chain today and my will need some more lube shortly.

Im currently using Muc-Off but am tempted by some high end stuff from Silca, either super secret or Synergenic.

I refuse to out in the wet so dry weather cycling only if that make any difference.

any pros or cons for the Silca products or any other I should be considering?

Firstly this is not a stealth sales post, just me being absolutely persplexed.

I was a going to list my Grand Seiko today which came to me on its lovely bracelet which I immediately removed and replaced with a Ostrich leather strap and GS buckle which is how I intended to wear it.

Now where the hell have I put the bracelet. Normally I would keep all items in the box but on this occasion its nowhere to be seen despite going through all my watch related storage areas.

Im sure we have all misplaced watch related before and Im sure I will unearth it in due course.

I have long had an idea of a watch dial I would like to have, very simple in the scheme of things and apart from some ropey to say the least sketches i have done on paper I would like to do a render on the ipad.

Is there a simple ap that would let me produce a digital drawing of my idea, something that would let me draw circles and add numbers and letters really so nothing massively technical.

I hoping the someone will have be able to help to identify the logo on this tie for me, its doing my head in.

My guess is Royal and or Military but for the life of me cant find it anywhere.
