My tools arrived!

Hello forum, good evening.

CONTEXT: I live in Europe, more precisely in Malta.

I work in the igaming industries and I’m done with it. Two months ago I decided to start study watchmaking (with focus on Swiss Mechanical) as a possible future business.

Since there is nothing regards this here in Malta I had (and have) to import almost everything.

So, last month I bought the complete kit and it arrived today.

The unboxing (don’t mind…

Is Uhrinstinkt trustworthy?

Hello forum.

Yesterday I bought a watch on uhrinstinkt.de on a very good price. Today I woke up and I was greeted with a email from them saying that they don’t have the watch and they are ordering.

I asked if I could get the money back and they said yes, but in the end I decided to wait for it because I don’t think I will get the same deal again.

I don’t need the money, in the sense that I can wait for the watch and it is a quarter bonus money, so it won’t mess with my finance. But I need…

Hello fellow Ball owners.

So, I have a Fireman Victory (NM2098C-S6J-BK). And I’m hunting for my next one that could replace the Aquaterra (220.10.41.21.01.002) in my queue.

  • Cyclops
  • Thin bezel
  • Anti-magnetic
  • Shock-resistant
  • More rounded like the Aquaterra and less edges then the Fireman Victory.

Lets put this way, for me the Fireman Victory with it edges and squared…

How to deal with ownership guilt?

Hello fellow watch enthusiasts.

So, a couple of months ago I started a watch collection. It is not my first collection, I also collect rum, zippos and knifes.

Collecting rum is easy bc if I like a rum I buy two bottles, and if I don’t like it, I will give the bottle to a friend. Also, I can drink more then one label at a time. So no ownership guilt here.

With zippos, I rotate it every time I need to refill it. So no ownership guilt here either.

My knife collection is not big, most of my…
