I was hoping to talk to you friends about vintage LCD digital Seiko.
I've been buying Seiko's for over a decade now, fairly obsessively.
They've all been automatic or manual wind.
That is, until I saw a sweet 1970s digital Seiko at a local shop.
It was the first-ever-digital model for the brand, and I loved the feel.
The looks are hit or miss, but all distinctly retro 70s/80s.

Wearing another man's full name on my wrist feels silly.

I've noticed Pogue guys have difficulty owning just one.
I'm talking about all the colors, not just the classic yellow.
The guy I bought my first Pogue from had 15 other examples.
And I just bought my second Pogue, the coke speedtimer variant.
That seller was a collector as well.
Now I feel the strong draw to buy the blue, silver, and teal dials too.
If I'm truly psychotic I'll then hunt for proof, resist, and blank variants of each.
Then maybe the different...

They licensed cases and designed their own dials.
I've been collecting them for about 8 years now.
Never seen the same model twice - especially this one.
This chronograph in particular is absolutely wild.
Super colorful and fun.
