Dear Watch U Seek,

I have a mid-eighties Omega Speedmaster moon phase (cal 866) that I inherited from my dad. The moon phase has not reliably worked since I received it 4 years ago. After I set it it will advance for only a few days and then just stop.

It's been into Omega for service 2-3 times (in Switzerland, which I now regret, as they modernized some of the parts) and to a boutique repair shop once. No luck. Otherwise everything works great, including the date wheel.

Does anyone out...
