Looking for some assistance here chaps. I have a 500gb external disk drive that I keep my music on. There is about 380gb used on the drive but now everything seems to have disappeared. They are all obviously still there as the disk is showing 380gb used out of 500gb but no files or file names.
Obviously don’t want to lose a music collection that took a long time to build up converting from LP’s , cassettes and CDs. I had a backup on my laptop that finally died but did not get round to doing the same on my new laptop. I’ve definitely not done anything to the drive and the only other person that might have denies all responsibility. Any ideas before I try the computer shops in town? All help gratefully accepted.
