It is possible that this has certainly been addressed before but I can't find any relevant info about it so I allow myself to ask: It concerns swapping modules in a DW-5000 SS (Street Style Stainless steel case) I believe this is the same case as, among others, the DW-5030/5040 with the same watch case.

Sorry I don't have a picture of my watch yet, it's on its way by the post.🙂

I want to change to a module with a positive LCD, and since I am not comfortable changing LCDs, I am thinking of...

Does anyone here have any info on this model? I inherited it and don't know much about it other than that it has been unused for a very long time and was replaced by an Omega Quartz also a few decades ago. It can be set, it runs a little by touching it but has no power reserve. Is this a watch that is appropriate to service, any value as is and value on these with the movement in order? Unfortunately I don't have the tools to open it available.
